Mongolia 's vast open space and range of landscape make the country a superb choice for off-road travelling. Zelter and Teshig soum are located in the territory of the Khangai mountain forest steppe zone. They are borders on the North with the Russian Federation. The area is abundant with different species of fauna and flora. It will be scenic and adventure journey through splendid, pristine countryside.

Zelter is located in Tushig soum of Selenge province. Tushig soum borders with The Republic of Buryatia of Russian federation to the north, with Bulgan province to the west and with Tsagaannuur soum to the east.

Teshig soum is the northernmost soum of Bulgan province and borders with the Russian Federation. About 3500 people live in Teshig soum. More than 20 percent of the population is Buryatia and the remainder is Khalkha. Teshig soum borders with Tarialan and Erdenebulgan soums of Khuvsgul aimag to the west  with Khutag-Undur sum to thw south, and with Selenge aimag to the east. About 70 percent of the area is covered by forest. There are Eg, Tarvagtai, Erin, Tavt, Tumrun, and Khujirt rivers. Teshig is one of the most popular areas of its beautiful nature. About 1,800 species of plants grow and it contains larch, birch, cedar, elm, fir and pine.
There are many animals, such as bear, wolf, boar, deer, moose, musk deer, marmot and beaver. There are also numerous bird species, including swan, geese, cranes, bustards, ducks and owls.
